The Northeast Iowa Community Connectors and Winneshiek County Conservation are hosting “An Evening at Lake Meyer” event on Thursday, May 23 from 5:30-8 PM at the Lake Meyer Campground Shelter. All ages are welcome.

The evening will begin with a cookout and time to learn more about Winneshiek County Parks, then a Nature Scavenger Hunt or just time to connect with others, walk the trails, fish, or kayak (bring your own equipment).

The event is open to the public, with a “Free Will Donation” to cover brats and chips. Please bring your own beverages and feel free to bring a side dish to share. Plates, cups, napkins, and utensils will be provided.

The Community Connectors are a group with a goal of “connecting” NE Iowa community members through social gatherings to form friendships, make professional connections, and create mentorships.
