Build Your Own Rain Barrel
Winneshiek County Conservation is teaming up with Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) to offer this build-your-own rain barrel workshop on Thursday, April 13th at 5:30 pm at the Lake Meyer Campground Shop. We will teach you the basics of rainwater harvesting and how to use a rain barrel for your lawn or garden. Rain barrels help with water conservation, capturing rainwater runoff and reducing water pollution. All supplies and tools will be provided.
Registration required through NICC at this link. There is a $45 materials fee for this workshop.
