Solar Eclipse Watch Party
Attend our free Solar Eclipse Watch Party on Monday, April 8 at 1:00 p.m. We will meet in the grass area north of the Decorah Pool at 1:00 p.m. to learn about the solar eclipse, then put on our viewing glasses to watch the eclipse begin around 1:30 p.m. The eclipse is expected to reach a maximum of around 80% coverage at around 2:00 p.m.
No registration is needed; however, viewing glasses will be provided for the first 50 attendees, so be sure to get there early! Thank you to our event partners, Winneshiek County ISU Extension & Outreach for providing the viewing glasses and helping to arrange this event.
In the case of inclement or cloudy weather, the event will be cancelled. View updates on Facebook by clicking here.
