Join Larry Reis, Winneshiek County Conservation naturalist, and Mark Leoschke, Iowa Department of Natural Resources botanist, for an educational prairie walk at Hayden Prairie State Preserve from 1:00-3:00 pm on Sunday, June 25^th, 2023. Participants will experience a prime tallgrass prairie remnant in bloom.

No registration is required to attend this free, public event. Please meet at the Hayden Prairie State Preserve parking lot and kiosk, accessible off 50^th Street along the north side of Hayden Prairie. Participants can expect moderately difficult walking conditions at this event. There are no mowed trails on Hayden Prairie and the terrain can be uneven and soggy. Please wear appropriate attire and footwear.
