Natural Egg Dyeing – Calmar
UPDATE: We have enough families signed up to hold this program. For everyone registered, we look forward to seeing you Tuesday!
Winneshiek County Conservation is egg-cited to offer a program all about how to color eggs with dyes made from natural materials. We will participate in the fun springtime tradition of egg dyeing using natural dyes made from locally collected black walnut, elderberry, cherry, goldenrod, and more!
Natural Egg Dyeing will take place on Tuesday, March 26th from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Calmar Public Library. Natural Egg Dyeing is free and open to all ages.
Space is limited and registration is required. Sign-up by calling 563-534-7145 or emailing education@winneshiekwild.com. Bring a dozen of your own hard-boiled eggs to decorate. We do not recommend eating your eggs after dyeing.
Can’t make it to this program on March 26th in Calmar? We are offering the same program in Decorah on Mach 25th – find more information here!
Please call Winneshiek County Conservation at 563-534-7145 with any questions.
