Natural Egg Dyeing – Decorah
Winneshiek County Conservation is egg-cited to offer a program all about how to color eggs with dyes made from natural materials. We will participate in the fun springtime tradition of egg dyeing using natural dyes made from locally collected black walnut, elderberry, cherry, goldenrod, and more!
Natural Egg Dyeing will take place on Monday, March 25th from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Oneota Food Cooperative Kitchen Classroom in Decorah, IA. Natural Egg Dyeing is free and open to all ages.
Space is limited and registration is required – if the 5:00 class fills, a second class may be offered starting at 6:00. Sign-up by calling 563-534-7145 or emailing education@winneshiekwild.com. Bring a dozen of your own hard-boiled eggs to decorate.
Can’t make it to this program on March 25th in Decorah? We are offering the same program in Calmar on Mach 26th – find more information here!
This is not a program of the Oneota Food Co-op. Please call Winneshiek County Conservation at 563-534-7145 with any questions.
