Natural Egg Dyeing at NICC

Winneshiek County Conservation is egg-cited to offer a program all about how to color eggs with dyes made from natural materials. We will participate in the fun springtime tradition of egg dyeing using natural dyes made from locally collected black walnut, elderberry, cherry, goldenrod, and more!

This Natural Egg Dyeing course is offered the Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) and will take place on Monday, April 14th from 6:00-7:00 pm at the Wilder Building on the NICC Calmar Campus.

Natural Egg Dyeing is open to all ages (children should be accompanied by an adult). Bring a dozen of your own hard-boiled eggs or blown-out egg shells to decorate. We do not recommend eating your eggs after dyeing.

The tuition fee for this course is $5. Registration is required for this event through NICC at this link.
