Winneshiek County Conservation staff will lead a night hike on Friday, August 5th starting at 9:00 pm from Will Baker Park to the overlook at Pulpit Rock.

The event will focus on the impacts of light pollution and resources for reducing your impact. Along with the hike, there will also be a moth sheet set up to attract insects, and time to stargaze and learn significant constellations.

There is no registration required. Participants will meet at Will Baker Park under the picnic shelter at 9:00 pm to start the hike. The hike will follow the city park trail up to Pulpit Rock, which includes some stairs and uneven terrain. Bring your own flashlight.
