Lake Meyer Reindeer “Hunt”
Santa’s reindeer are roaming around Lake Meyer Park and need to be found in time for Christmas!
Join us for a “Reindeer Hunt” at 11:00 am on Monday, Dec. 23rd at the Lake Meyer Campground Shelter!
How does it work?
- Pick up a clue card at the shelter to begin your “hunt.”
- When you spot a hiding reindeer, you will check it off your card and leave it where you found it.
- Use the clues to find all nine reindeer and take a picture with each if you’d like!
The “Reindeer Hunt” is a fun and exciting way to get outside this winter break to enjoy one of our county parks. This fun and FREE outdoor event is for all, especially those who are off school or work for the holidays. No registration required. Bragging rights go to the group who finds all 9 of Santa’s reindeer!
If we have snow, we will also offer snowshoeing! All equipment will be provided and no prior experience is necessary. Activities will be determined by staff pending weather conditions.
In case of severe weather, visit this webpage or Facebook for cancellation information.
