Ski & Snowshoe at Lake Meyer
UPDATE: We will NOT be skiing or snowshoeing due to poor snow conditions. All are still welcome to visit Lake Meyer Campground for hiking or outdoor play.
Winneshiek County Conservation will host a public cross-country ski and snowshoe program from 3:00-4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28th at Lake Meyer Park and Campground. The program is free and open to all.
All equipment will be provided and no prior experience is necessary. Registration is not required, but RSVPs are appreciated. Please call (563) 534-7145 to let us know if you plan on attending. Meet at the shop in the Lake Meyer Campground.
Plan to wait in line for skis or snowshoes; we have enough supplies for all, but it takes some time to get everyone outfitted in gear that works for them. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
In case of severe weather or poor snow conditions, visit the Winneshiek County Conservation website or Facebook page for cancellation information.
