The park was donated by the Schultz family with the intent to conserve the area and provide a space for environmental education. Walden Pond is perfect for fishing along the shore, hiking through the woods, or picnicking on the hillside with a view of the pond and prairie. There is truly something for everyone who enjoys the outdoors there!
