Winter Break Animals Camp
UPDATE: This camp is now open to grades 2-6. Call 563-534-2222 to sign-up!
Show your wild side this winter break!
Students in grades 2-4 are invited to join Winneshiek County Conservation and the Fort Atkinson Public Library for a half-day camp on Winter Animals on Thursday, Dec. 28th from 1:15-4:00 pm. Participants will play games and do hands-on activities as they learn about how animals survive our cold Iowa winters. With luck and a good snowfall we will even try snowshoeing!
Students should bring outdoor winter attire including snow pants, boots, a coat, a hat, and gloves/mittens. We will meet in the Fort Atkinson Community Center.
Learn more and sign-up for this program through the Fort Atkinson Public Library by visiting or calling 563-534-2222.
Can’t make it on the 28th? We will be offering the same half-day camp in the morning on Dec. 29th at Decorah Public Library. Find more information at Decorah Winter Break Animals Camp. UPDATE: The Decorah-based program is full.
