As the weather warms up in spring, thousands of birds begin the migration north along the Mississippi flyway, often stopping over at backwaters, rivers, ponds, and lakes to rest. It’s time to see how well you can identify the birds that are most often in water in Winneshiek County. If you braved the cold weather to attend our Waterfowl Viewing Walk on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025, you are probably ready to ace this quiz! We have more birding events coming up. Learn more at: Events
