With the hobby of bird-watching growing in popularity, you can never know too many birds! Over 295 species of birds call Winneshiek County home at different times throughout the year. Can you name these common species? A few of these birds migrate, but many live year-round in Winneshiek County, surviving the winters with special adaptations to find food and stay warm.
