Lake Meyer Campground is closed for the 2020 season. Check back in late spring 2021 for information on next year's camping season.

Fall 2020: Lake Meyer was temporarily lowered to facilitate a maintenance and shoreline armoring project in conjunction with the Iowa DNR’s Lake Restoration program and is now re-filling naturally. The boat dock at the boat ramp has been removed for the season.
Canoeing, kayaking, and boating with electric motors area all permitted on the 30-acre lake. The 160-acre park includes hiking trails, natural areas, a campground, and a multiple picnic shelters, including a large, timber-framed shelter. Parking can be found at several points around the lake; the main loading area is on the eastern lake edge.
To help prevent the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer, firewood from outside of Winneshiek County is not permitted at Lake Meyer Campground. Local firewood is available for purchase.
Location: Lake Meyer is located off of Highway 24 between Calmar and Fort Atkinson.
