To help prevent the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer, firewood from outside of Winneshiek County is not permitted at Lake Meyer or Kendallville Campgrounds. Local firewood is available for purchase at both campgrounds.
What to expect at Lake Meyer and Kendallville Campgrounds:
- Sites do not have water hook-ups, but each campground has a dump station and drinking water spigot to use as needed.
- Electric sites include:
- Gravel pad to park your camper/vehicle
- Site post to clip your registration information (be sure to insert your payment in the camping fee box on the shower house when you register)
- Permanent metal fire ring in ground with pullover grate
- Electrical hook-ups – some sites have 20-30-50 amp hookups and some are just 20-30
- Picnic table
- Non-electric sites include:
